Established in 2009, Paragon is a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting and research firm in Nepal, specializing in civil engineering, architecture, infrastructure and environmental studies. With 35+ skilled full time staff, we’ve successfully completed over 135 projects through strong collaboration and expertise.

About Chairperson: Mr. Narayanhari Rijal, a Civil Engineer specialized in Hydropower Development from NTNU, Norway, with expertise in Environmental Flows in Nepal since 2016. Experience includes major projects such as the Upper Trishuli-1 Hydropower Project (216 MW), and work in the Trishuli River Basin covering over 35 projects, as well as the Hewa Khola-A and Lower Hewa Khola Hydropower Projects. Engaged in Environmental Assessments for various infrastructure projects, including Hydropower, Water Supply and Sanitation, Buildings, Roads, and Bridges. Research interests span Ecohydraulics, Integrated Water Resources Management, River Basin Planning, Nature-Based Solutions, and Sustainable Hydropower Development.
